Welcoming Station #7 to our Baton Rouge Fire Department

Ground Breaking Ceremony Baton Rouge Fire Department

On Tuesday, July 21, 2009, the Baton Rouge Fire Department will conduct the “Ground Breaking Ceremony” for new Fire Station #7.  The ground breaking will take place at (Claycut at Jefferson) at 11:00 a.m.

This new station will replace the current Fire Station #7 which was constructed in 1951 (58 years) at 112 N. Foster Drive. The building will be slightly less than 10,000 square feet in size, having room for four bays for Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and personnel manning each unit
